Inventors Killed By Their Own Inventions

Try for a moment to imagine a world without the internet… Hard, right? Imagine where we’d be if the Wright Brothers had thrown in the towel on the whole flying idea, or if Thomas Edison figured candles were alright after all.

Inventions, ideas and innovations are vitally important to the advancement of humanity! They’re what transformed us from cave-dwelling apes into a cutting-edge civilisation, and they’re going to dictate the future from here on out as well.

But out of the millions of inventions that have been produced throughout history, not all of them do the inventors any good at the time – some of them, as you’ll find out, were safest locked behind doors!
